155 fresh islands, gentle sandy beaches, warm sparkling seas and inspiring creole culture; the Seychelles is a natural honeymoon location simmering with romance. We believe our very best Seychelles honeymoon itineraries combine white sandy beach time with some fabulous African wildlife; Seychelles beaches are easily combined with Nairobi, Dar es Salaam or Johannesburg

Why a Seychelles Honeymoon?

  • Truly unique Seychellois French-colonial style splashed across lavish 5* luxury and barefoot eco-conscious hotels alike; although most accommodation options are located on the main island of Mahé, there are so many islands to choose from, you can be assured that you’ll find an exact fit for your Seychelles honeymoon.
  • The climate is year-round fabulous so you can get married whenever you like, and when you arrive on your Seychelles honeymoon you will be greeted with sunshine.
  • If you’ve ever wondered how Crusoe felt on his own desert island, this is the place for you. Try the 10 suites and a whole load of snorkelling at Enchanted Island Resort for starters.

  • We recommend that you spend some time on one of the main islands, either Praslin, for rainforest and coco de mer with access to La Digue, or Mahe, with its sumptuous luxury suite style hotels, such as the Banyan Tree or  Maia. We’d ideally recommend a 2 or 3 stop tour as the flying in between the islands is part of the fun.

For even higher standards of luxury, we recommend discovering the very exclusive delights of a private island such as Denis, Desroches, Fregate, or if budget permits the Royal Honeymoon location - North island.

There is such a range of landscapes and experiences in the Seychelles, from the elegance of the granitic islands, with their distinctive rock formations rising from a crystal sea, to the impressive drama of the volcanic islands, and the remote appeal of the outer islands. Combinations of these make for diverse and memorably superb beach honeymoons.

In terms of combining your Seychelles honeymoon with a safari, a great itinerary would start you off in the Masai Mara in Kenya for 5 nights, then out to the Seychelles for 6 or 7 nights on the beach. Replacing the Mara for the Kruger in South Africa would work just as well, or the Selous in Tanzania. And for those unafraid of an extra short flight, the rest of ‘safari’ Africa opens up to you; we love combining the Seychelles with Botswana.
