Guludo: The DetailGuludo is actually on the mainland just North of Pemba and within the Quirimbas National Park. Set on a stunning and unspoilt stretch of the Indian Ocean the 9 spacious tented bandas give panoramic views through the netted walls, creating a feeling of being outside while inside. Raised bedrooms sit under an expansive palm-thatched roof, opening upwards and outwards to make the most of the stunning sea views and cooling sea breeze. Each of the nine tented-bandas have a quirky alfresco marbled bathroom and share a lavatory with one other banda. Guludo has genuinely been built using strict ethical principles that have ensured that the host communities and environment receive maximum benefit through the lodge. Set on a vast beach that competes with anywhere in the world, Vamizi consists of 13 extravagant rooms spread at one end of a 7km long beach. Rooms are huge with massive four poster beds, open lounge areas and huge bathrooms
