MEDJUMBE
Quirimbas Archipelago
Medjumbe: Our ViewIt is a new lodge that in our view is still to really prove itself, However it is set in an idyllic and romantic location offering the perfect start or end to a honeymoon. The lodge is also very generously priced and have a great service. But the issue with it is getting there as it is a lot of travelling. Medjumbe: Fast Facts$530 per person per night (high season)
Medjumbe: The DetailLocated in the Quirimbas Archipelago, Medjumbe is a wonderful small island covering an area of 100km by 500m. Medjumbe Island lodge itlsef that spreads its way down one side of the island Accommodates a maximum of 24 guests in 12 separate and intimate chalets. The island itself is tropical and lush and with a reef off the island that plays host to some superb snorkeling, this is a great retreat for those of us looking for a relaxing break away involving minimal strenuous activity! However for the more active amongst us, many water sports are available and the ever so friendly staff are the first to take you on at volley bal or badminton on the beach. The room themselves are smart and welcoming but the satellite televisions are simply something that in our view should not be needed and taint an atmosphere of what could be a lovely small lodge. The lodge has a very relaxed and non-intrusive atmosphere but don't expect the real frills and exemplary service other lodges in the area offer. You may also likeQuirimbas Archipelago
