Of course not being at the crater rim is an issue, but the stunning views over the highlands are unique and most of all, there's no one else around! The Manor gets a strong 4 paw rating. The Manor: The DetailThere is a luxury finish to every square inch of The Manor and attention is where it thrives. Each semi-detached room provides a wealth of comfort with their own private outdoor areas that offer distant views of the rolling highlands. With a choice of Champagne, wine chocolates and 2 fire places one doesn’t really have to move when it come to relaxing in the comfort of your own room. The main Manor building is like a modern stately home with crystal chandeliers, gallery rooms, a Victorian style lounge and a billiards room. Being right on the conservation areas border, The Manor often receives frequent visits from a few inquisitive passer by’s, such as elephant, buffalo and blue monkeys. And if they don’t beat the chef to the home-grown vegetables and herbs you get to eat an almost completely local menu cooked by an absolutely top rate chef. The hotel boasts a magnificent spa area and masseuse, a new huge pool and their horses are a lovely touch. The Ngorongoro highlands offer an undulant and thrilling ride and for the non-equestrians among you, the walking and hiking activities must not go amiss.
