Kapinga: Our ViewThe quality of the camp certainly satisfies a more luxurious clientele than nearby Busanga Plains Camp. We do believe that Kapinga is not quite as polished a safari camp as the excellent nearby Shumba Camp but Kapinga’s selling point however is its size – with only 4 rooms the camp feels small and intimate. The game viewing from here is just as good as the other camps in the area and we are more than happy selling it as the best top end option when Shumba is full. Kapinga and Shumba both get 4 paws because they are the two most luxurious properties in the Busanga plains area of the Kafue. Busanga Bushcamp is the only lodge in this park we give 5 paws to. Kapinga: The DetailKapinga Camp is situated in the north-west corner of the vast Busanga Plains of Kafue National Park, one of the largest national parks in Africa. The Busanga Plains is one of Zambia's most significant wetland resources in Zambia. The camp has four tents raised up onto wooden platforms. The interiors of each room are spacious and with only the four luxury safari tents accommodating a maximum of eight guests, one can be assured of exceptional personal attention. Tents and the main area are all shaded by a canopy of majestic trees and on raised wooden platforms to enhance the panoramic view across the plains. Lively colours and stripes characterise the main area, comprising a lounge, dining area, camp fire and small pool under a shady tree. Guests can take part in game drives and walking safaris in and around the Plains, while night drives offer the added excitement of observing the nocturnal wonders of the area. You may also likeKufue
Definitely one of Kafue’s best camps Wilderness Safaris Shumba Camp has a great setting and a real emphasis on the luxury experience. The area is visited by few guests so safaris here are very exclusive and the quality of guiding set very high.
Kafue
Busanga Bush Camp is one of our favorite camps in the Kafue. Originally a privately run camp, Wilderness Safaris now run Busanga and have still left the lodge with its original charm.
