Liuwa Plains Camp

This camp has now closed.

Described on the Norman Carr Safaris website as ‘simple yet extremely comfortable’, Liuwa Plains rather undersells itself! It is certainly extremely comfortable and although ‘simple’ that’s the last thing that crosses your mind on entering camp, it is a simply stunning bush camp in a fantastic game viewing area.

Liuwa Plains- The Details

Often described as a photographers dream, guests will see thousands of wildebeest in the second biggest wildebeest migration on earth, discover various species of rare birds (330 species, some in flocks of hundreds), follow cheetah hunt in the plains or watch clans of up to 50 hyena interact at their den and fantastic Wild Dog sightings. I mean, what more could you want in a safari camp?

Norman Carr, being an excpetional safari company really gets safari and rest assured here you will have an extremelly comfortable stay in the hands of experts.

There is something for everyone and so much to see, hear, experience and generally enjoy in a great camp in a fantastic location. You are not forfeiting game viewing for accommodation or vice verse - the beauty of this camp is that it really suits it surroundings. It is not over the top luxury, but enough to feel comfortable and also live up to your visions of a true African safari seeping with authenticity and surrounded by wildlife..
