Ololo’ is an Australian owned Safari Lodge that combines the atmosphere of bush style living with the full service, amenities and comfort of a luxury city hotel. Attention to detail, combined with home-style warmth and a high standard of comfort are hallmarks of the Ololo experience.
Perfectly situated on the banks of the Mbagathi River, the southern boundary of the Nairobi National Park, Ololo is a secure twenty-acre property with views over the Nairobi National Park and to the Ngong Hills in the west. The beautiful, established gardens host many of the 500 species of bird life found in the park and four of the ‘Big Five’ are often seen from Ololo’s main house terrace and front deck.
The main lodge is built around a traditional colonial farmhouse. With a blazing fire in the ‘winter months’ and comfortable lounges, complete with a dungeon wine cellar close at hand, guests can choose to relax indoors in the colder evenings.
The lodge can access the park at any time with its own footbridge. Guests are given 24-hour admission to the park after entering, and Ololo offers full game drives as well as excursions to surrounding local attractions.
