The location of Sands on Chale Island is what sets it apart. With the magical mangrove lake, tropical greenery, silver beaches and gloosy turqiose waters, it seems that this place has it all.

The bio-diversity of this small island really gives life to it's forest, and whilst staying here expect to be immersed the whisperings of insects and bird life and primates which surround you. The seaweed on the shores attracts nesting turtles, which only adds to the magic of this place.

Here, you will find an incredible fusion of nature and comfort. With locally sourced products and furnishings the interior design feels welcoming and authentic, and also - importantly - it is built with a view of preserving the fantastic surrounding nature.

The accomodation itself is comprised of 6 different room categories, which means there is something to suit a variety of guests. The style could be described as with the elegance of a 4 star, and without the luxurious finess of a 5 star. Being here is more about the location than the standard of accomodation. Saying that though, the options are very attractive still. Thye Suite on the Rocks is particularly attractive for honeymooners and is completely isolated and extravagant.
