Our View
Dinaka is a beautifully simple but spoiling camp in a private reserve next to the Central Kalahari. It’s particularly noteworthy due to its location: in a wholly private slice of desert, where Kalahari lion, springbok, and even brown hyena roam and the stars twinkle radiantly above. While excessive modern design features and overwhelming luxury are not its bag, the camp is incredibly attractive in an understated, tasteful way.
Our View
The Kalahari desert immediately sounds lifeless and baron…it is far from it. It is one of the most diver habitats in the world and home to as much of Botswana big game and plains game as the other areas. There are only two camps in the Kalahari Game Reserve and Kalahari Plains is one of them, run by Wilderness Safaris this is a must for any Botswana safari. If time permits, we highly recommend a few nights here whether it be the dry or wet season as both are phenomenal times to visit.

It is one of the most diver habitats in the world and home to as much of Botswana big game and plains game as the other areas. There are only two camps in the Kalahari Game Reserve and Tau Pan is on of them. And you if you can couple your stay with the two Kwando guides that you get per vehicle, you get an experience of no other in the world.
