Our View
A seriously gorgeous 'beach chic' property on the shores of the Indian Ocean, in Southern Mozambique. White Pearl epitomises laid back luxury. There's a private plunge pool in each suite, well designed chill out areas and miles of fabulous, deserted sandy beaches. There's not much tidal difference, so all day beach swimming, but with quite wild waves at times... two swimming pools provide alternative options.
Our View
We regard Azura as a great choice of lodge to experience a complete getaway from normal daily lives. Most importantly, it is located in a national park which offers this sense of remoteness coupled with nature. Azura have taken all of this into account when designing the lodge and its features to create Mozambiques first proper eco lodge. Each of the individually designed rooms are just feet from the beaches of a typical Indian ocean paradise.
Our View
This lodge is guideline for others to follow; service is exemplary and not intrusive. You can be left completely on your own or encouraged to do as much as possible and either way, it feels like home.
Our View
The key for us at Bazaruto is to use it as a base to explore the surrounding beaches and reefs; it is not somewhere to spend days at the lodge itself. This the most economical and arguably the best value lodge in the Bazaruto Archipelago. The recent refurbishment has made this lodge a great choice.
