Praslin
Praslin is quieter, less populated and a perfect location for exploring impressively beautiful beaches and nearby islands, such as its laid back neighbour, La Digue.
The Best of Praslin
Praslin is a lovely island, fairly developed, with some good, mid-range hotel options in the boutique and resort style - although these are still expensive for what they are! This is the Seychelles, and you pay for the good stuff here.
You could day trip to Praslin from Mahe, or stay here and use Praslin as a jumping-off point to explore the small, sandy pathways of nearby La Digue island for the day. While staying on Praslin, you could take time to explore the Vallee de Mai World Heritage site, where you can see the the strange and beautiful Coco-de-Mer, the largest seed in the world and the signature of the Seychelles’ wealth of endemic natural phenomena. The wonderful primeval trails of this nature reserve has over 6,000 Coco-de-Mai palms.

This endearing establishment situated in the Seychelles enjoys the height of privacy as it occupies a large private estate, along a private beach which is situated at the end of a private road, in the midst of a colourful and exoticly scented tropical garden.
