Ulusaba: Our ViewRichard Branson’s Ulusaba is one of the worlds most famous safari hotels and certainly a top end option for luxury short safari. In the office here we are slightly bemused by the level of praise this lodge gets and have to put it down to the incredibly high marketing budget of the Virgin group. Definitely a great option for Sabi Sands safari but a lodge that comes after the likes of Singita and Londolozi for overall quality of product. Ulusaba receives 3 paws which may well shock a few Virginaholics. A lovely luxury lodge but this area of the Sabi Sands has some of Africas finest lodges in, and falls short of their high standards. Royal Malewane is located in a private game resereve outside of the Kruger National Park. Regarded as one of Africa’s most luxurious lodges, this place is arguably on another level completely. The accommodation here would rival any other hotel on the planet and with great game viewing this is one of the best safari hotels for those of us looking to be pampered. A truly sumptuous lodge where nothing is left out.
Sabi Sands
Located along side Exeter River Camp, Exeter Leadwood Lodge is located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve to the West of the Kruger National Park.
