Leadwood Lodge: The DetailJackalberry and leadwood trees shade the four suites at &Beyond Leadwood Lodge, situated on a wooded bank of the Sand River. Each suite has a fireplace, sitting room and private pool, surrounded by a wooden deck. The en suite bathrooms are spacious with both indoor and outdoor showers. The elevated dining and sitting areas have views over the Sand and Mabrak Rivers. Pan African meals are shared on an open deck tucked under the boughs of a jackalberry tree, or in the outdoor boma around a fire. Exeter Dulini Lodge is the last of the &beyond lodges in the Sabi Sand Exeter game Reserve. Well respected as the reserve to offer the best value in the Sabi Sand, Dulini Lodge is a high spec, top class lodge which offers seriously good accommodation levels for the price you pay. The reserve is also a great destination for big game so this lodge remains one of our favourite lodges for luxury at an affordable price.
Kruger
Ngala Safari lodge is a much more economical option than its neighbour Ngala tented and a lodge that is substantially less expensive than its Sabi Sands competitors. With 20 rooms, Ngala safari lodge is much larger than its neighbours but the size drives down the price and makes this lodge one of the most economical options in the Kruger and its surrounding reserves. This is certainly still a high end luxury lodge and a great option for saving some cash.
Sabi Sands
&Beyond’s Exeter Reserve is located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve to the West of the Kruger National Park. This area of South Africa is well respected as being one of the finest game viewing areas on the planet and with &beyond being one of the most luxurious operators in Africa, you can guarantee a seriously good game viewing experience. Not as luxurious as the Singita’s nearby, what really sets these lodges apart from their competition however is their price. Superb value for money considering the level of accommodation on offer.
