12 Apostles: Our ViewLocated south of the main drag of Camps Bay the 12 Apostels is a great hotel and is certainly a 5 star property but its the location on the main road and the fact that the hotel is neither in Camps bay or in the city centre make this hotel an odd choice. Overall a good option, but not one of the very best. The twelve Apostles gets a 4 paw rating but verges on being just 3 paws. 12 Apostles: The DetailThe Twelve Apostles Hotelis situated in De Oudekraal Bay, at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean just south of Camps Bay It is surrounded by indigenous vegetation, with views of Table Mountain and Twelve Apostles Mountain. There are 55 guest-rooms and 15 suites. Rooms are equipped with the latest technology. The hotel's restaurant offers international cuisine with a South African flavour and has views over the sea. The bar and lounge have ocean and mountain views. Traditional afternoon tea is served daily and there is a cinema for guests’ entertainment. The Taj is one of the city centres finest hotels. Located in a great nightlife hotspot, with a number of seriously good restaurants, bars and clubs, the Taj also has some of the best views out of the top end hotels. The suites here are especially good. Overall a very good choice for city centre accommodation and a brand long recognised as one of the most luxurious hotel operators in the world.

Ellerman House is one of Cape Town’s most famous hotels. Very different to the likes of the Grace and Mount Nelson, Ellerman House is a small boutique property which invites guests who are looking for a quieter and ultimately more personalised Cape Town stay. With a range of different rooms running at varying prices, you have to be a little careful what you book here, but the service levels are exceptionally high throughout. An absolutely cracking property.

The Cape Grace takes pride of place in Cape Town; this hotel has the location of all locations! 5 star luxury, beautiful views over the harbour and Tabel Mountain make the Grace one of the finest hotels in South Africa and arguably the very best hotel in Cape Town. A location to beat all others and an incredibly efficiently run hotel…..seriously good!
