THE TAJ CAPE TOWN

The Taj Cape Town: Our ViewThe Taj is in down town Cape Town, away from the Water front. Overall a good choice for city centre accommodation though it is also worth looking at the longer established Mount Nelson The Taj gets a good 4 paw rating due to its location and guarantee of a very high standard of accommodation. The Cape Grace takes pride of place in Cape Town; this hotel has the location of all locations! 5 star luxury, beautiful views over the harbour and Tabel Mountain make the Grace one of the finest hotels in South Africa and arguably the very best hotel in Cape Town. A location to beat all others and an incredibly efficiently run hotel…..seriously good!

Ellerman House is one of Cape Town’s most famous hotels. Very different to the likes of the Grace and Mount Nelson, Ellerman House is a small boutique property which invites guests who are looking for a quieter and ultimately more personalised Cape Town stay. With a range of different rooms running at varying prices, you have to be a little careful what you book here, but the service levels are exceptionally high throughout. An absolutely cracking property.

Located in the heart of Cape Town’s fabulous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront the new One & Only is a contemporary hotel with one of the best locations in the main tourist hotspots of the city. Too contemporary and ‘business like’ for many of us in the office, the One & Only splits opinion. Great location but most rooms have poor views. Ultimately not a hotel to remember, make the One & Only one of our least favourite Cape Town hotels.
