THE BAY HOTEL
Cape Town
The Bay Hotel: Our ViewThe Bay Hotel is a luxury hotel set in the heart of Camps Bay. Although the setting and the facilities are impressive, the atmosphere is not. The beach club ensures that a young, pretentious Cape Town crowd are permanently in residence. We give this 3 stars, great if you like the pretentious Saint Tropez vibe we dont! The Bay Hotel: The DetailThe Bay Hotel is a luxury hotel set in the heart of Camps Bay. The highlight is definitely the impressive pool area, containing no less than four hotel pools with expansive sun decks offering superlative views of the Atlantic Ocean and majestic Lion’s Head. The hotel has 78 well designed comfortable suites and a thriving beachfront café and cocktail bar. The spa is renowned for rejuvenating treatments and massages. You may also likeCape Town
The Cape Grace takes pride of place in Cape Town; this hotel has the location of all locations! 5 star luxury, beautiful views over the harbour and Tabel Mountain make the Grace one of the finest hotels in South Africa and arguably the very best hotel in Cape Town. A location to beat all others and an incredibly efficiently run hotel…..seriously good!
Cape Town
The Mount Nelson is another of Cape Town’s most famous 5 star properties. Located in a superb part of the city with good access to the cities main attractions, the Mount Nelson is the colonial option for travellers wanted to step back in time and soak up the history of early colonialism. The Mount Nelson is 5 star luxury but at a decent price. Our only issue with this hotel is that its somewhat stuffy characteristics and atmosphere make it a hotel a limited market.
Cape Town
Ellerman House is one of Cape Town’s most famous hotels. Very different to the likes of the Grace and Mount Nelson, Ellerman House is a small boutique property which invites guests who are looking for a quieter and ultimately more personalised Cape Town stay. With a range of different rooms running at varying prices, you have to be a little careful what you book here, but the service levels are exceptionally high throughout. An absolutely cracking property.
