Choosing your accommodation for a dream holiday is by no means an easy feat. Often people are swamped by the multitude of choices on offer, but luckily we are here to help. This page has been designed specifically to help you with your choices. Here we provide you with a comprehensive list of the best camps, lodges and hotels you can visit when booking with us. We highlight the significant differences in accommodation types and what they can offer. Our interactive menu below also allows you to search through each accommodation option, arranged by name, price, location and rating, at your own leisure.
Best Luxury Safari Lodges
With plenty of options to choose from, selecting your safari accommodation isn't easy. Different lodges can offer different experiences depending on what you are after from your holiday. Some lodges will only have small guest occupancy and offer intimate experiences, whereas other camps will cater for larger groups.
Camps can also be mobile meaning that they are not permanent structures and they will relocate depending on the season and where the animals are most likely to be. Due to the accommodation manoeuvring regularly, these camps are normally made up from a number of luxury tents. These tents however, dispel all traditional myths of what may come to mind if you think of camping. Their furnishings are luxurious and all your needs will be met. Their placement is also extra-close to the action and will certainly make you feel more at one with nature. If you have the opportunity to stay in these mobile camps, do it.
Best Beach Hotels
Just like the safari camps, there are many varying options when it comes to accommodation by the beach. Generally the more you pay, the more intimate and luxurious your accommodation will be, however we have options that can cater for all budgets. The beach hotels we offer can either be the base for a perfect romantic getaway or for an ideal adventure and activity filled holiday.
Best Safari Lodges
It is very hard to rank Africa lodges with one simple measure! Our ranking is subjective and tries to reflect value for money as well as overall quality. Therefore we may award just three stars to certain 'five star' lodges in the hotel, or five stars to some superb, unashamed 'three star' hotels that are great value for money.

Nomad Nduara - Serengeti, Loliondo
The outcome of this heady mix of culture, style, comfort and wilderness, is one of the most amazing camps you will ever see! Certainly the most attractive of the mobile camps working in the Serengeti Loliondo area, Nduara is a breath of fresh air, offering a unique style yet still focusing on what Nomads do best – authentic safari! The guiding is (as always expected from Nomads) exceptional and with only 6 rooms the remoteness, privacy and exclusivity cannot be beaten. Overall, this is a truly superb camp, especially for those wanting to stay away from the crowds and focus on walking safari and the cultures that live alongside the Serengeti. However, the camp is very seasonal for the migration so must be booked with care if the migration is what you are searching for.
Cost: $845
Nomad Serengeti Safari Camp - Serengeti, Mobile
Serengeti Safari Camp was the most basic of the accommodations , which is understandable being that it's actually mobile. A couple (from the Isle of Man) with whom we had shared a jeep at the Kuro Camp was disappointed when they first got there. I don't think they understood what a chemical toilet meant. We enjoyed the simplicity of it and found the manager and crew to be especially pleasant. We saw four crossings, one of them lasted for about an hour and a half.

Norfolk Hotel - Nairobi
Our View
Norfolk House is a good hotel to stay in if you want to be in the centre of town although it can get very booked up should there be a conference in town and suffers slightly from a smallish, overlooked pool.Cost: $353
North Island Seychelles - Other Islands
We have just returned from a family holiday in the Seychelles, and wow, it was an Easter to remember! Our extraordinary time on North Island with our children, 7 and 9, will be forever treasured… snorkelling together to find turtles and sharks among the myriad other coloured fish beneath us, buggying between one incredible deserted beach and the next, it was a magnificent family holiday. Best of all, the staff who whisked the children away to have more fun without us… leaving us to enjoy sundowners, siestas and utter peace in serious style. You organised seamless, wildly fun helicopter transfers, and we had the ultimate desert island dream!

Notten's Bush Camp | Sabi Sands - Sabi Sands
Our View
Deep into the Sabi Sands, Notten's Bush Camp is arguably the best value camp in this part of the Greater Kruger. Boarding on the Mala Mala game reserve, Notten's is perfectly positioned for some outstanding game viewing. Just like the rest of the Sabi Sands, leopard viewing is a highlight here, yet the density of the big five plus cheetah and wild dogs makes staying here an absolute delight.Cost: $500
Nsefu Camp - South Luangwa
Nsefu was “rugged Africa" with lots of game including leopards. Following stampeding buffalo that were being hunted by lions at night was an adventure.

Nsolo Camp - South Luangwa
The Norman Carr camps were absolutely fantastic, the guiding especially. Innocent Tembo is reason enough to visit Nsolo on his own. We did a sleep out under mossie nets one night and this must rate as our best ever safari experience.

Nxai Pan - Makgadikgadi Pans
Nxai Pan: A good place to start our trip. The tracks we could drive were limited, no off road driving here and we had to be back in camp before dark. Our guide was Tabo. The friendly tracker Obi took us on the little nature walk in the camp and told us many things about the Bushman culture. I felt they could do more with the cultural experience. - R Blom
