Madikwe Game Reserve is brilliant for children as it’s a malaria-free zone, and this camp really pushes the boat out for the little ones in order to ensure your stay is as relaxing and special as possible. For the adults, it offers a seriously spoiling experience as one of the reserve’s most luxurious options, and benefits from a beautiful vista.

Madikwe Hills - The Facts

10 spacious suites make up the camp, which is owned by Seasons in Africa. Its location is super secluded in the middle of the park, and benefits from the brilliant surrounding wildlife viewing - in Africa’s largest reserve with 7,500 hectares of land - with an abundance of wild dog and big 5 animals.

The lodge takes children from the age of 10 and up, and they will be more than entertained with activities including archery, as well as a junior ranging programme.

Rooms have four-poster beds and ultra-luxurious facilities including personal plunge pools, outdoor showers, and an all-in-all private safari experience. The Honeymoon Suite also benefits from a huge outdoor bath with endless views from the camp’s raised level.

Suites nine and 10 can be combined into a private villa for families and groups of up to 8 people, or if you want an unforgettable group trip you can reserve the whole of Little Madikwe, which is a two-bedroom villa with two optional additional suites forming a completely private camp which can accommodate 9 guests.
