This is the plushest offering in Entebbe. Either before or after your primate trekking adventure, a night or two at Hotel No 5 can provide a pitstop that’s both practical and luxurious. Entebbe isn’t home to lots of luxury hotels like other African cities, but with Hotel No 5 you get everything you could want from a city stop and more, with a charming boutique feel and excellent rooms.

No 5 Boutique Hotel - the facts

With a swimming pool, spa and fitness centre, Hotel No 5 really does have all the facilities to keep you occupied during your visit, even if it’s mostly used for an overnight pit stop before or after international flights.

The restaurant offers delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner options and even has its own pizza restaurant for those looking for a hearty meal after trekking in the wild for Uganda’s primates. Most guests at Hotel No 5 are passing through en route to this

All rooms have a small outside balcony, while how much space you get varies from level to level. The luxury apartments are spread over two floors and include a ground floor sitting room and kitchenette. Luxury twins are all on the ground level and are just a step away from the hotel’s tropical gardens, with a sitting area looking on to the greenery.

Meanwhile, the luxury double rooms are all situated on the second floor, with a slightly elevated view of the gardens and a nice balcony.

The surrounding grounds offer a leafy escape from the wider chaos of Entebbe, and with Entebbe International Airport a quick ten minute transfer away, it couldn’t be in a handier position.

The only downside is it’s a touch on the more expensive side, but that’s because it really is the most luxurious option in Entebbe.
